Will she get back to her lake, or is simple pleasure too much to ask in a world that is falling apart around her? And if the ancient prophecies were right about the mark of the beast, could they be right about the judgment to come?

Alyssa Huber's novel is a tighly woven thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the last page is read while also speaking to you in an imtimate manner about the importance of family and spiritual faith. I am in awe of her work! - Tisha Chevalier
I just skimmed through the last half and salvation and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ were not mentioned at all. This is just someone's made up version of the end times with a few facts thrown in. There are so many errors it is just a confusing mishmash. True believers just don't bother as it is a complete waste of time. Read the Left Behind series for an as true to reality story you can find. These show events as biblically as possible without going through it firsthand. But if eternity is not settled for you then hurry as the time to the rapture is short. When the rapture occurs and you are still here, absolutely do not take the mark.
Loved this book it tells a great story!! It makes you feel all the emotions, sadness, fear, happiness, and love.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was very good!! It is an Easy read and good for kids and adults.
I could not put this book down, finished it in 2 days. Even though this was a work of fiction, the author's insight and imagination gave this book such a ring of truth. Whether you are a believer in the biblical prophecies or not, I highly recommend this book.
