After reading the blurb for this book I was really keen to read it and see what the book was about and I am so pleased that I did!  I enjoyed the plot and the characters were genuinely likeable. 

The book is really well written and as soon as I got in to the story it didn't take me very long to read at all. I liked the combination of the different genres - the book covers modern day, science fiction, drama and romance, humour and the time-travelling aspect - normally with this many different things I wouldn't expect it to work, but it does and I have given the book 4 stars! 

The book is definitely one I'd recommend - give yourself a different read and the unexpected with this book!

I've never read a book quite like this one; it was so good. I couldn't put it down because I was constantly wondering what was going to happen next. Julie is such a great character too. I can't wait to read more from this author!
Even if you, like me, do not believe in time travelling, it is a fascinating topic. This paranormal book feels like a psychological novel because of what Julie experiences and the way her time travelling provides her with new insights into her past – the events, the people in it. Although I found myself sceptical at the beginning, soon I was drawn in as the author created a believable series of events with an intriguing plotline that kept me hooked. Whilst Julie is fighting for her life and vividly relives her life so far (although with a different edge but how you will have to find out for yourself), the author takes us by the hand and leads us on a riveting journey through time. I loved how the author shows us the events from the various perspectives and I secretly had a crush on one of the characters (again, my lips are sealed). A paranormal novel is not my usual read but I am very glad I took the opportunity and stepped outside of my comfort zone as I enjoyed Wide Awake Asleep very much.
